They are terrific for the athletic person
They are very social and adapt to many different family and single situations
if properly trained and given attention they need
They are a healthy breed and absolutely beautiful
Once bonded they are loyal
Easily crate trained
Generally get along well with each other well as they are pack animals

They are infamous escape artists, If you can go over, around or under
they can find a way.
They blow their very plush coat several times per year
Very high grooming maintenance  when coat is blowing
they need a very strong pack leader as you must earn their respect
Most have a high prey drive so not usually good with cats  exceptions apply
Not usually good off leash although i have found exceptions to this rule
