Spirit

One Saturday morning as I prepared for the day ahead, I looked out of the window to see a young Siberian Husky at the front drive looking up as if to say "Well, here I am, come and get me." As I have a true love for this breed, I responded. Believing she had simply escaped, several of us looked diligently to find her owners, but no luck. When all manner of searcing for her family failed, we simply added her to our family. She has certainly been a challenge. Her love of running free eventually resulted in being hit by a car. Her leg has been mended and she has truly become a part of our daily routine. Spirit is one of the Husky's currently in our care. Lexxi and Hope are also part of the group. This breed needs lots of excersize and you can see me at the dog park frequently with my happy group. I am proud to be able to care for them as well as assist several rescue groups in their outreach to find homes for various animals.
Some do not think dog parks are a benefit.  My opinion is they are great for socialization and interaction if your animals are not of an aggressive nature.
